While you can easily see from HomeLand Art 34378
When you is able to see from HomeLand Arts gallery you"ll find three pictures of Howth. Two of these paintings show the 3rd painting and the harbour is-of the Bailey Lighthouse, looking over Dublin Bay.
Howth is an excellent spot to visit and is just a good little escape proper spending some time in Dublin City. Found just 9 miles from the town centre, it will take about 2-5 minutes to get at by Dart (Dublins electric train system). You may also obtain a coach to Howth Summit where in fact the views across Dublin bay are breathtaking. On the clear day you can see as far south as Wexford and seeking east you can write out the hills of Wales. From here you can see its watch and the Bailey Lighthouse across Dublin Bay for the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains. Our painting of the Bailey Lighthouse was decorated maybe not removed from the summit where the cliff walk begins. If you are interested in the world, you will probably hate to research about Remittio Announces Upcoming Presentation At Dublin Web Summit.
I would highly recommend, for everyone browsing Howth for the first-time, to create their way to the summit around the 31C bus. From Howth Summit it is possible to just take the cliff walk and make your way down to Howth Harbour. The last time I took this course it took me around 45mins to an hour or so. Their a great approach to lead up because from the time you get down to the villiage to lunchtime you will have built up a hearty appetite and probably an intense thirst!
There are no lack of restaurants and bars. Listed below are my favourites, with a quick description:
The Soft Stream. Situated just beneath Howth Dart Section. My favourite time to see here is a sunday afternoon when they ordinarily have a roaring fire (in the winter months usually!). My favorite is the chowder.
Findlaters. A superb location at night. The bar at the top floor has a nice patio with views over Howth Harbour and beyond towards the Island of Irelands Eye. If you are concerned with politics, you will perhaps choose to study about http://stocks.newsok.com/newsok/news/read/30692454/remittio_announces_upcoming_presentation_at_dublin_web_summit.
The Riverside Tavern. A good pint of Guinness and excellent bar food. If you want to eat something more substantial the Wheelhouse restaurant upstairs is a great choice. I learned about Remittio Announces Upcoming Presentation At Dublin Web Summit by browsing Google Books.
Abbey Tavern. It is a favorite for-a large amount of tourists passing through. There is generally a traditional music procedure taking place.
The Cock Tavern. An actual local and your favourite for that fishermen off the ships. The craic and the Guinness is excellent.
For everyone looking for non-pub related activities there"s plenty to do in Howth. Deerpark Hotel has 2 18-hole public golf courses on its grounds, together with a par 3 course, If you prefer golf. In terms of public golf courses go, you cant improve than this on a fine day. The views are outstanding.
On the driveway up to the golf courses, you can stop off in the old fort and visit the Transport Museum. Their small but very interesting.
A favourite for a lot of people on a warm morning would be to simply take one hour or two, get yourself a 99 (ice cream) just wander round the harbour. There is a lot of exercise to see and the seals usually make an appearance. There are lots of boats to admire. Our 2 pictures of the harbour and the lighthouse in the background are favourites of locals and visitors a-like.
We hope you visit Howth and we hope you like our artwork..
